Barnabas Idi-Amin Jonah was born on the 12th of January, 1972. Attended L.G.E.A Kumbo, Donga L.G.A and He is a graduate of B.sc in Accounting (Hon) also has undergo professional courses which include ANAN and CITN. He is currently the Director Tax Audit and Special Investigation of Taraba State Internal Revenue Service.

This department relates with all the functional units of the Board to create a friendly and good tax environment in the State.

The Tax Audit and Special Investigation department stated as a unit in 2010, but is currently a full department since 2012.

Salove S. Umar

About Me

Salove S. Umar was born on the 4th of April, 1964 at Buranko’a Kwana Kulu in Zing Local Government Area of Taraba State. He is currently the Director of Monitoring and Compliance Department and has the following qualifications; CTA, IOT, JIB and a BSc. In Business Management.

My Department

Vested with the responsibility of checking all revenue books from ministries and other departments.

The Monitoring and Compliance Department is responsible for checking Revenue Books such as: RBIN; Receipts, Used and Unused; Cashbooks; and Bank Tellers. In some cases, Expenditure files of Ministry, to find out unpaid withholding tax.

Bulus M. Sanda

About Me

Bulus Maigada Sanda was born in Takum on the 6th of July, 1973. He attended his Primary School in 1985, he also attednded General Murtala Mohammed College Yola and completed in 1991.

He Obtains Diploma in Public Account and Audit from the Taraba State Polytechnic Wukari in 1998. Proceed to University of Maiduguri and Bag B.sc in Accounting in 2007.

He completed professional courses both home and abroad. Did his Preliminary Inspector of Taxes Course in Kaduna in 2010, final Inspector of Taxes in 2021. Attended and completed the Joint Tax Board Tax Identification number (JTB-Tin) Train-The-Trainer Course in Montreal, Canada in 2013. He is currently the Director Planning Research Statistics & Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department of the Taraba State Internal Revenue Service, Jalingo.

The PRS & ICT department has always been the backbone of the Board of Internal Revenue.

 

My Department

The Planning Research Statistics & Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department started as an independent unit with five (5) staff. In October 2012, it became full department of the Board of Internal Revenue consisting of twenty-five (25) staff.

Piyonga Musa Sambo

About Me

Mr Bala Nyatse was born in 1963. He attended Rimi Primary School in 1971, Government Secondary School Wukari (Taraba state) from 1977 – 1982. He undertook his degree programmes in University of Jos and the Federal University of Technology Yola. From 1983 – 1995. He is currently the Director of Collections and Accounting department with the Taraba State Board of Internal Revenue.

Responsible for all Revenue (s) accruing to the Board of Internal Revenue.

 

My Deparment

The department manages tax collection and alerts the Assessment Department for necessary legal actions against defaulters to enforce payments accounting for collection involving collating and reconciling all taxes collected and reconciling all taxes collected and paid into revenue accounts.

Joseph M. Sika

About Me

Mr Emmanuel Lodiya was born on the 25th of December, 1960. He attended EKA’s Primary and Government Secondary School in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. He obtained a Diploma in Accountancy from University of Jos and a BSc in Accountancy from the Federal University of Technology Yola. Emmanuel Lodiya has participated in many Inspector of Taxes preliminary courses. He is currently the Director of Pay as you Earn (PAYE) department of the Taraba State Board of Internal Revenue.

The PAYE Department was created in September 2017 from the Assessment Department with two units; Commercial and Government. The PAYE department has a total of eleven (11) staff with the Director inclusive.

About Me

Felix Manthy Ubandoma was born on the 22nd of July, 1970. He attended Government Day Secondary School Kunini and the Federal University of Technology Yola where he obtained a BSc Hons. In Business Management. He also has an MSc in Business Administration from the same university and is currently the Director of the Road Tax Admin.

Road Tax Administration MLA’s are responsible for issuance of Motor Vehicle particulars to Motorist in Taraba State.

Amos Maigari is a graduate of B.sc Economics Education and a holder of Master Degree in Health Economics From Taraba State University, Jalingo. He is a visionary leader. Born on 31st December, 1963. He was nurtured by his uncle Maigida Audu in Tikari ward, Takum. His greatness in life as a Director of Other Taxes today, is determined by his endurance in the challenge that come his way.

The Other Taxes department has been existing since the inception of the Board of Internal Revenue together with the Road Tax Department. Road Tax department was later carved out of the Other Taxes department.

Bala Abdulkadir

About Me

Bala Abdulkadir was born in 1972 in Jalingo, Jalingo Local Government of Taraba State. He Completed his Primary school in 1984 at Moh’d Tukur Primary School Jalingo, also attend his secondary school at Govt. Science Secondary School Jalingo in 1988. Did his NCE at College of Education Jalingo in 1994.  He attended University of Maiduguri in the year 2000, were he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Statistics.

He has undergone a variety of training programmes, including  the Preliminary Inspectors of Taxes course in 2008 and Joint Tax Board final course 2015. He is currently the Director Assessment Department of Taraba State Internal Revenue Service.

Ahmed Dajiri Kpachi was born in Karim Lamido on the 17th of May, 1964. He attended his Primary School in 1975, he also attended his Secondary School in 1980.

About Me

Bar. Nierus Johnson was born on the 25th of November,1980. He attended His Primary at Bem. Primary School, St.Peter’s Minor Seminary, Yola. Attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for his LL.B degree where he graduated with second degree (upper division) therefrom, went to the Nigerian Law school (Lagos campus). was called to the  Bar in 2008 and served in Oguta Imo State between 2008/2009.
